Run an Allora. Share in the profits.
Allora provides the investment to open the location. You provide the commitment to learn how to run it.
The Allora Operator Program is designed for people who want the opportunity to one day run an Allora location. Allora funds and owns the business, while the Operator is entrusted with running it and participating in its success.
Successful Operators have the opportunity to build a six figure career through compensation and profit participation, along with benefits.
Every Operator begins the same way: inside Allora, learning the business from the ground up.
The Path Begins Full Time
Applying to the Operator Program means beginning as a Full Time team member with a clear long term goal.
You follow the same Full Time development path, progressing through each level as your skills, judgment, and responsibility grow.
Advancement is earned through demonstrated performance and in person assessments. The objective is not simply to spend enough time at Allora. It is to become ready for what comes next.
For most candidates, this first stage will take approximately 10 to 12 months.
Allora University
Once a candidate reaches Trainer level and demonstrates the readiness to continue, the next stage begins.
Through Allora University, training expands beyond the guest experience and daily operation into the complete business behind an Allora.
That includes team leadership, hiring and development, scheduling, inventory, supplier relationships, financial performance, ordering, and the decisions required to operate a location well.
As trust and responsibility grow, training also expands into the production and craft behind Allora, including our kitchen, gelato and cone production, ingredient preparation, and the standards behind everything we serve.
Before being entrusted to run an Allora, an Operator should understand the business from every side.
A Program Built Around Progress
Expectations are clearly defined throughout the program.
Candidates are evaluated monthly, with a more comprehensive review every three months. Progress is measured across hospitality, leadership, operational execution, business understanding, judgment, accountability, and continued development.
Each month also includes selected reading in hospitality, leadership, business, finance, communication, and personal development, with an emphasis on applying those ideas directly inside Allora.
The goal is simple: there should be very little ambiguity about where you stand, how you are progressing, and what is expected at the next stage.
From Candidate to Operator
Operator training typically adds approximately six months to the Full Time development path.
In total, the journey from your first day at Allora to being ready to run a location is approximately 18 months.
Those who demonstrate the standards, judgment, consistency, and readiness required to represent Allora may be invited to become an Operator when the right opportunity becomes available.
Run the Business
An Allora Operator takes responsibility for the entire location.
That means protecting the guest experience, building the team culture, developing people, managing the operation, understanding the financial performance of the business, and maintaining the standards behind the Allora name.
Allora provides the location, buildout, equipment, brand, systems, product development, sourcing, marketing, technology, and ongoing support.
The Operator runs the business and participates in its financial success.
Build Your Future in the Right Place
Where you live matters.
As you progress through the program, we want to understand the cities and regions where you would like to build your life and consider those preferences alongside where Allora sees the right opportunity to grow.
The goal is to find the right market for both you and Allora.
Exceptional Operators may also have the opportunity to run a second Allora location as the company grows.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for people with a natural instinct for hospitality, sound judgment, discipline, curiosity, attention to detail, accountability, and a willingness to keep learning and improving.
You do not need to have owned a business before.
You do not need a specific degree.
You do not need the capital to open an Allora.
What matters is the way you care for people, respond to responsibility, and grow with the expectations placed in front of you.
Completion of the development program does not guarantee an Operator position. Operator opportunities are based on demonstrated readiness, performance, business needs, and available locations.
